November always seem such a dark month with not much sunshine or happiness. However we have had much to celebrate at Buckhaven Community Church.
On the 19th we joined with Coastline Community Church, Pittenweem to witness three of our regular attenders, along with a “Coastline” gentlemen, make a public profession of faith and participate in believers’ baptism.
Later that day at our informal café style church, we heard moving and poignant testimonies, laughed and cried, rejoiced and celebrated, joyously amazed at how God had intervened and changed lives, that change not being temporary or fleeting, but forever!

As we prepare for Christmas we look forward to being stimulated and challenged by the teachings of Max Lucado in his study entitled “Because of Bethlehem … love is born, hope is here”.
We are also excited about our evening out in Edinburgh where a number of us are visiting the Usher Hall to indulge ourselves in the “It’s Christmas” service.

A Mass Sleepout to End Homelessness in Scotland.
We’re inviting you to join us and 9,000 others in Princes Street Gardens on the 9th of December·for the World's largest ever sleep-out. You’ll be joined by some of the world's biggest artists, to sleep in the cold for one night.
By raising funds and working together, we can stop the sticky plaster mentality and get to the root issues with a plan to eradicate homelessness over a 5 year period by providing people with housing, rehabilitation, job opportunities and the support they need to get back on their feet.
We want to make Scotland an example for the whole world to follow. We’re a small country. A nation of innovators.
The statistics of homelessness in Scotland are not insurmountable.
We can do this. We just need you.
Two of BCC Street Pastors are also on patrol during “Sleep in the Park “ in Princes Street Gardens Edinburgh on the 9th December. Midnight to 7 am !!!
